LAMBDA’S LOW-COST H SERIES LINEAR POWER SUPPLIES TARGET SENSITIVE APPLICATIONS

MELVILLE, N.Y. (January 27, 2000) – Lambda’s low-cost H Series linear power supplies provide low noise and excellent line and load regulation where stable output voltages are required. With line regulation of ±0.05 percent for 10 percent line changes and load regulation of ±0.05 percent for 50 percent load changes, the H Series power supplies are ideal for sensitive applications such as amplifiers, RF measurement devices, instrumentation and some medical applications.

“The H Series linear power supplies are a convenient and cost-effective option, as the product’s eight industry standard packages allow for multiple sourcing,” said product manager Ian Kolker.

Available in output voltages of 5 to 28 volts and power levels from 15 to 115 watts, the H Series power supplies come in 20 single, dual and triple output models. Voltage taps are field-selectable for 100/120/220/240 VAC, allowing equipment to operate effectively worldwide.

Overcurrent protection is provided in foldback with automatic recovery and overvoltage protection on the 5V models is set at 6.2V±0.4V. The operating temperature range for the H Series is 0˚C to +50˚C, with a derating of 3 percent per ˚C above 50˚C up to 70˚C.
